Unleash Osty

“Make a huge Osty, protect it and let it one-shot foes”
Core idea
Unleash is your main source of damage, or Protector if you have it. Stack up your Osty with various Summon sources then use Graveblast to repeatedly pull back the Unleash for huge hits. Osty isn't affected by Strengthdown, so Shared Fate and Friendship are perfect for this deck. Spur is important, but make sure you use it for its heal to get maximum effectiveness out of it. Necro Mastery helps round out the deck with some multi-enemy damage - in these fights it can be worth prioritising Summon over Block to intentionally take hits and chip away at the enemy.

When you find an early Reanimate or get offered the Protector Ancient upgrade

Necrobinder has many sources of Summon. Defense is very important to maintain a high health Osty, so be sure to draft Weak and Block too. Orichalcum can be a good source of Block if most of your defense cards are Summons as opposed to Block, otherwise Dexterity can be useful. Pull Aggro is especially good here. Enemies with high damage output can make growing Osty really tough - for these cases it's good to have some quick reliable sources of damage, like Defile or Eradicate.

Since you are trying to protect your Osty, Melancholy is quite antisynergistic and Bone Shards is virtually unplayable. Enemies with high relentless damage output like the Thieving Hopper can make this gameplan impossible to get off the ground.
